We survived exposure at Ground Zero

First off, the show at Ground Zero went really well!  Lots of friends came to support us and Stephen the audio engineer had everything sounding good.  All in all a great time was had by all, and we look forward to working with As|Of and Ground Zero again in the future.

Tom (our guitar player) went on tour with his "other band" In Defence not long after our show.  This has presented Dave and I with the opportunity to work on new things and integrate some new equipment (like a guitar-strap equipped 2 octave MIDI controller for me).  In this time we have worked on two new songs which we are very excited to play live sometime soon, and also re-engineered our audio interface configuration to be much more versatile for live performance.

More news on our new single and more soon!

one down, one to go?

Recording and mixing for our first new song, Nameless, is done.  Next we finish Losses and then we send them off to be mastered.  More about the mastering part once it actually happens.

guitar for nameless and losses is tracked

Tom and Dave and I got together yesterday and spent nearly five hours tracking guitar for our two new singles, "Nameless" and "Losses".  It went very well - Tom totally nailed several of the parts on the first take!  All that is left now is mixing and post-production, and then we send them off for mastering!

Updates (and details on the upcoming show) soon!

Practice makes... pretty much ready

Kether got together and had a GREAT practice on Tuesday.  We ran through all of the songs, and then went back and worked on many of them again.  We're a rather "experimental" band, which is to say that we're constantly reworking and refining our music, but overall our music is all ready to be played live!  There will be a show coming up in April, which will be announced soon, we would love to book more shows too.
